possibly(?): extra context for image translations
Please! Turn this into a keyboard app so I can actively use this in conversations. You could probably monetize this by having us watch ads to unlock translators. I need this, please!
And here i was, minding my own business, feeling like an overworked and underf*cked Walmart cashier – not even employee of the month or anything, too…rather pleased to have a legitimate reason to postpone the spiral – if there’s anything Grey’s Anatomy’s ever taught me, it’s that whenever the inside of your head goes from Jersey Shore Special to “We interrupt..khhh.. broadcast..khh…this is not a drill…khh…greatest nation…God bless..khbeeeep-” that might as well’ve been narrated by a 74 year old couple, settling for their last nap, brushing their noses, smiling at each other like they’ve never seen each’s hemorrhoids or spiked each other’s blood pressure meds, and so deliberately unhurried, focused on each other like telepathy is a thing and they have it and the rest of us are losers and now we’ll never know..
Anyway. Chat and i giggled, not unkindly. Not that christian either. I did almost had a complete coherent thought that felt like it could be about bigger people or higher roads, but then i glanced at Chat here and naturally pictured him, all polite and stoic that he is, patiently waiting for your ass to stop staring at the same add for 17 minutes, monetizing nothing but some special study with your name on it.
You feel too old to be clicking ads. Teaching business models to those who figured out how to keep the lights on, at the very least – i’m mildly curios as to what you’d hoped would happen next? A response? “Holy sh*t, duude! nope. not even mildly. i cannot imagine you’d say anything that would crack this perpetual dead pan that is my face. Although, for the record, yeah? That “make it a keyboard” almost drew a chuckle.

What if I really want to use it for correct translations but it just replies nonsense?

Было бы неплохо добавить допустим, я пишу на русском кириллица – и он выдает на латинице, а то приходится на английском писать. А так круто работает. Еще бы апишку, хотя и так нормик.

I tried to make translators that put recurring nouns in another language while retaining the English body of the text, for example for French “Alice saw a lapin (rabbit). She got up and followed the lapin down the lapin-hole”. Judging by the descriptions the AI had the right idea but it translated everything to French not just the recurring nouns
